Retail success, book tour and new product debuting at Atlanta Gift and SURTEX confirm The Art of Marbling brand as marbling trend leader.
During the Atlanta Gift Market in January 2020, showrooms across multiple product categories will be featuring The Art of Marbling authentic art brand.
February 2-5 at SURTEX in New York, (MHS Licensing & Consulting booth #3286) an updated portfolio with a large series of new hand-crafted designs will debut.
Heather Fletcher, creator of The Art of Marbling and recognized authority on this art form is currently touring the country on the strength of her book, “Making Marbled Paper”, and demonstrating this ancient technique. Watch a short video of Heather at work.

Northcott Silk previewed a line of licensed The Art of Marbling designs on cotton fabrics for the quilt, craft and home décor markets at the Houston Quilt Market in October. During the show Heather was demonstrating the technique used in creating her stunning designs in tandem with signing her new “how-to-book” which was released by Fox Chapel Publishing in October. The highly rated book for the do-it-yourself enthusiasts features a variety of The Art of Marbling designs and different techniques for everyone who shares the love of creating things by hand.
Additional licensees including Galleria Enterprises, Boston Warehouse, Indigo Falls, Laural Home, Manual Woodworkers and Weavers have also partnered with the popular marbling brand, a trend spotlighted by trend leaders such as Saks Fifth Avenue and New York Times.
Marbling is an ancient art form dating back to the 11th Century coined by Zen monks for its meditative process. Today’s marbling has evolved and these mesmerizing designs are created using floating paints, handmade tools and then carefully transferred to paper.
