WEBSTER NY, (December 2022) — BeeMine Designs has released that it will be exhibiting at Surtex 2023. Kris Schwenck, the designer, features whimsical illustrations, mini pattern collections and hand lettering for greeting cards, paper products, gifts and more.
“I can’t wait to meet art buyers face to face, I’ve been waiting over 2 years to do this.” said Kris Schwenck of BeeMine Designs. Plum Pudding Illustration said the designer is “very talented” and Nicole Tugeau, of Tugeau 2, Inc. told Kris after reviewing her work, “You have a great style”. Kris’ work is also said to be “very charming and licensable” and “absolutely adorable” by Shannon McNab, of Shannon McNab of Sketch Design Repeat Ltd.
BeeMine Designs has been designing greeting cards and illustrations since 2009 after searching for wedding invitations for her upcoming wedding and couldn’t find anything fun and whimsical. Kris’ quirky, stylized work gives a joyful vibe to the viewers, making the designs work really well for festive, upbeat occasions.
BeeMine Designs is a relative newcomer to the surface design world. But that hasn’t stopped Kris from continually creating new designs to take the surface world by storm. “I’m so excited to get to Surtex and show my designs. I can’t wait.
